British developer/publisher Codemasters has left THQ Partners, who handled its distribution in the Americas during 2011, in favor of Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, who will now take care of distribution, sales and marketing for all of Codemasters’ 2012 releases in North and South America, including Dirt Showdown and F1 2012.

Fake eyewitness accounts report seeing THQ Publishing outside of Codemasters’ bedroom window, holding a ghetto blaster above its head that was said to be playing “In Your Eyes” by Peter Gabriel. We have, however, received conflicting reports that a freshly embittered THQ Publishing has opened a record shop and hired a young and enthusiastic Jack Black to work behind the counter.

Will fans get shut down for trying to make a Chrono Trigger HD remake? They are certainly trying to complete their work in the shadows, not attaching any credits or a website to the project. Will this tactic keep Square-Enix from hunting them down and stopping the project?

From a super crazy launch in New York to the first StreetPass NYC meet up, to the Nintendo 3DS is doomed to the insane holiday season, pass the Vita launch and Kid Icarus: Uprising…it has been one hell of a first year for the Nintendo 3DS.

To celebrate, we plan on having a mini-meet up inside the Best Buy at Union Square where hosted the official Nintendo 3DS North American launch. We plan on hanging near the demo unit upstairs, allowing us access to Nintendo Zone and a Internet Connection.

Nothing crazy. Just to meet up, StreetPass, play games, share crazy stories about the launch of the unit (Jordan White, Founder and Event Organizer of StreetPass NYC can put Cranky Kong to shame in that department) and reflect on what was a crazy year…also to prepare for PAX East and our upcoming One Year Anniversary.
