Who has time to accumulate cash then wait for a game to launch before actually paying for it? In this work-a-day world, we need to prepare for such things; we need lead time. And if you’re of a similar mind, it may please you to know that Sorcery will be the first game to kick off a new pre-purchase feature on PSN.

Right now, you can log onto PSN and pay for Sorcery, triggering a download granted you have auto-download enabled. Once you have the game pre-loaded, you can play as soon as Sorcery launches next week on May 22.

Sorcery is the only game you can pre-purchase through PSN right now. We’ve inquired with Sony about future games.

Previously, Konami’s FMV-esque trailers for Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance have given us weird, disorienting looks into the surgical processes involving Raiden’s robo-arm and cyborg eye, but this latest episode is a little more … theatrical, let’s say.

Anyone who clearly remembers and is still somehow able to comprehend Raiden’s background as outlined in Metal Gear Solid 2 will be able to piece together what’s happening in this video, though we’re still not entirely sure why you’d hand a sword to someone during surgery, even if that surgery’s purpose is to turn them into a milk-powered electro-ninja.

Remember shortly after Diablo III was officially unveiled when fans were upset about how colorful the game looked?

Possibly as a response to those early criticisms, Blizzard hid Whimsyshire, a world full of smiley clouds, rainbows, and enemy unicorns, in the game. Fans (the ones who have been able to play) have discovered the level only a few days after Diablo III's Tuesday launch.

Now that Hank and Fanny have welcomed twins into their lives (and your Homestead) in Pioneer Trail, life has become pretty hectic for them (and understandably so). Being that the kids are such a handful to take care of, they need you to help babysit them while they catch their breath. This comes via a series of eight main goals to complete, with one unlocking at a time. Zynga has warned users via the game’s official forums that this feature has a “hard” difficulty, so let’s get ready for a challenge!

Morning Stroll? More Like a Sprint!

  • Collect 15 Fast Fries
  • Collect 8 Morning Muffins
  • Remove 5 Stumps on your Homestead

The Fast Fries come from potatoes. When you finish this first goal, you’ll receive 100 XP, three Honeydew and one Twin Hugs.

A Picnic in the Shade

  • Harvest 15 Horseradish
  • Collect 20 Vitamin Milk
  • Collect 15 Picnic Sheets

The Vitamin Milk is earned from tending Adult Cows on your own Homestead. The rewards for this goal are an easy 200 XP, a Nectarine Tree and two Twin Hugs.

Lullaby for Frank

  • Craft 5 Naptime Snacks
  • Collect 20 Carved Honeydew (earned when harvesting honeydew)
  • Collect 15 Calming Blossoms (earned when tending Wildflowers)

Rewards: 400 XP, Mystery Animal Crate, 4 Twin Hugs

Time to Bounce

  • Craft 4 Tandem Wooden Horses
  • Collect 40 Coiling Vines (harvest Pumpkins)
  • Collect 15 Soft Spurs

The Tandem Wooden Horses are created using Bolted Mounts (a crafting project in and of itself) and Baby Saddles that are earned by asked your friends to send them to you. When you finish this goal, you’ll receive 500 XP, a Lunch and five Twin Hugs. If you’ve completed all four goals up to this point, you’ll also receive a special one-time reward of two Raging Buffalo drinks.

The Greatest Story Ever Told

  • Collect 40 Authentic Droppings (tend adult pigs)
  • Collect 50 Lucky Clovers (tend clover)
  • Collect 30 Pretend Swords

Rewards: 600 XP, Mystery Animal Crate, 6 Twin Hugs

Wipe Out!

  • Harvest 40 Pink Roses
  • Collect 30 Harness Clasps (tend adult oxen)
  • Craft 8 Wet Cloths

Wet Cloths are crafted using cool water and soft cloths, both of which are earned by asking your friends to send them to you. For finishing this goal, you’ll receive 700 XP, 700 coins and eight Twin Hugs.

Sweet-Smelling Lily

  • Collect 35 Mashed Nectarines (tend Nectarine Trees)
  • Harvest 60 White Roses
  • Collect 35 Smellbetter Soap

Rewards: 900 XP, Stately Estate Crate, 10 Twin Hugs

Lullaby for Lily

  • Collect 60 Oily Polish (harvest flax)
  • Collect 25 Horsehair String
  • Craft 8 Full Moon Cello

The Horsehair Strings are unique items in that they can be earned by tending “non-rideable” horses on both your Homestead and your neighbors’ so make sure to ask them to pull them out of storage so that everyone can tend them! You’ll receive 1,000 XP, a Dinner and 12 Twin Hugs for completing this final goal. By this point, if you’ve finished goals 5-8, you’ll also receive three “Fanny’s Crates” items.

In addition to these eight daily goals, you’ll also have one final mission to complete, that revolves around completing some of these goals multiple times.

Pinch Hitter Babysitters

  • Have 120 Twin Hugs
  • Complete the 4th Goal Three Times
  • Complete the 8th Goal Three Times

While each of the daily goals weren’t terribly difficult on their own, this final goal is definitely a time consuming task. Obviously, you’ll want to complete the repeated goals each three times and then fill out the rest of your Twin Hugs requirement by repeatedly completing whichever goal is easiest for you. If you can complete this final goal, you’ll receive 2,000 coins, 2,000 XP and a Babysitter Bird Bath. Good luck!

What do you think of these Twins Babysitting goals? Do you think you’ll have trouble completing them all, or are you dreading the work ahead of you already? Sound off in the comments.

While we’ve been given the opportunity to build quite a few casinos in CityVille, the game’s newest Premium Casino is arguably the best one yet, giving you a chance to win up to 1 million coins, 10,000 Premium Goods or 10 Zoning Permits. However, as with so many things in CityVille, you’ll need to first construct this Premium Casino before you’ll have a chance to actually win anything.

The first level of the Premium Casino can be built using 25 building materials, which are earned either through general news posts on your wall or individual requests sent to friends:

  • 5 Chip Stacks
  • 5 Money Buckets
  • 5 Keno Cards
  • 5 Dice
  • 5 Casino Chairs

When you’ve completed the first stage of the Premium Casino, your maximum Jackpot will only be 100,000 coins, 1,000 Premium Goods and a single Zoning Permit, but as you upgrade the casino, the Jackpot grows higher. Level 2, for instance, requires seven each of the above building materials, and ramps up the Jackpot to 500,000 coins, 5,000 Premium Goods and 5 Zoning Permits. Finally, Level 3 of the Premium Casino requires nine each of the building parts listed above, and when you finally complete them all, your Jackpot will be that listed above: 1 million coins, 10,000 Premium Goods and 10 Zoning Permits.

But how do you actually win anything? That’s simple: depending on the level of the casino, you’ll need to spend either two or three energy to collect from your Premium Casino, which can be done every few seconds. To be specific, a Level 1 Premium Casino costs two energy to collect from, while Levels 2 and 3 require three energy per collection. Even if you don’t win the Jackpot (which will of course be rare), you’ll still have a chance at smaller prizes. Just how often you collect from your casino, then, will ultimately depend on how big of a gambler you’d like to be with your energy. Good luck!

What do you think of this Premium Casino in CityVille? Have you won anything great from it so far? Sound off in the comments.

Earlier this year, we held a tournament that would determine our next Super Replay. Eight Game Informer editors chose a game to fight for, and I landed on the original Half-Life. I beat Ben Reeves in the finals, and earned the right to play through the entirety of this classic for the first time on Super Replay.

Watch below as we step into the shoes of Gordon Freeman during our first Super Replay of a PC game.
